To Change phone call default program to “3cx desktop App” in Windows 10

It is to set windows default application to launch 3cx phone call dial pad automatically by clicking phone number on browser, email or Office applications.

Precondition: Windows application  “3CX Desktop App” need be installed and provisioned.

By this setting, when inputting “Tel:4168552781”, then it will be highlighted with hyperlink. Clicking the number will launch 3CX Windows Desktop app dial pad.

1. On the Start menu, select Settings  > Apps > Default apps.

2. Select Choose default apps by protocol;

 3 . Select “3CX Desktop App” as default protocol of “CALLTO” and “TEL”
